Hi, I’m Jason Goldberg. I am excited to welcome you to the website for my corporate entity, JAG Web Studios. I am the founder and CEO of the company and I pride myself on the quality of work, ease of use, and delivery times of my work. While I do the vast majority of the development/design work here, I also have a network of affiliate techies that specialize in other areas that I work with and together we’ve accomplished some great things. We are experts in web and software design/development technologies, graphic design, social media campaigns, and company branding techniques. Simply put, our goal is to expand the visibility of your company’s “web footprint” by leveraging all of the latest technologies that the web has to offer.

How it all Started

I guess you could say it all started with my father. He had started his own business when I was 3 years old. As far back as I can remember, I can recall going to bed, hearing the clicking of keyboard strokes late into the night. You see, my father’s business ran on an Alpha Microsystems platform. From what I understand, you bought the computer and at least one terminal, which came with an operating system and a programming language (a form of BASIC) – and nothing else. To run a business with one of these things, you had to first program your own software (or purchase something out of the box, but those options were extremely limited back then).

Like any kid, I always took a huge interest in what my father was up to. One day at the age of 8, I asked him to teach me how to program computers. It was then that I was first introduced to the principles of programming, to the extent that BASIC could provide. He taught me about loops, if-then statements, REM statements, and how to read input from the screen. From that point on, I had always been dabbling in computer technologies. I owned several Bulletin Board systems before the age of 10. I tried to learn every programming language I came across, and by the age of 15 I was an Intern at a local Internet Service Provider. The Internet was so fresh and new back then, there was so much to learn. To this day I see that as one of the most helpful experiences of my life.

The rest is pretty much history, as they say. I’ve been developing, designing, and learning new technologies ever since. I get satisfaction from making computers do new and exciting things. That is the underlying motivator and where my passion comes from.
